Every Saturday from July through September, the Kaansya terrace transforms into an intimate live music venue. Local folk musicians from the Kumaon region play acoustic sets against the backdrop of monsoon rain — no amplifiers, no stage lights, just warm sound under low amber lanterns.

What To Expect
Sessions run from 7 PM to 9 PM on the covered terrace overlooking the valley. Seating is limited to 30 guests to keep the atmosphere intimate. The evening pairs naturally with our monsoon menu — think hot toddies, Kumaoni snacks, and slow-cooked comfort food. No tickets are required for in-house guests; walk-ins from the area are welcome on a first-come basis.
Musicians rotate weekly and include folk singers, sitar players, and occasional Pahadi storytellers. The sessions are unstructured and conversational — the kind of evening where you sit back, listen, and let the rain fill the pauses between songs.
